The sun was shining warm from a blue sky and the sign post under the old oaktree was so comfortable and nice, so Pooh had almost decided to stay when he remembered Poohsticks Bridge.
He had just jumped to the ground when a young girl with her Pooh, double his size, and Piglit on its arm, came down the road with her friend and a local guide. They were on their way back from the bridge. The two Pooh bears nodded to each other and Piglet waved his arm. And then Pooh started his walk of 2 ½ miles. He went across fields with grazing sheep and climbed gates.
”It is a very interesting walk”, Owl would remark. ”But not really suitable for young children”, Rabbit would add.
